A downloadable game for Windows

Telegeddon is a TV-trashing, genre-busting action RPG with a battle system made up of microgames - think "Paper Mario meets WarioWare," but with an original touch and its own sense of identity.  It is currently being made (as of 2025) by solo developer Luke Tarlowe AKA Thunder Dragon (creator of PSYCUTLERY, and some old Mario fangames like "Psycho Waluigi"), with musical contributions by DJ Yoshiman.

The year is 1999. "Hotrod" Helen, a junkyard owner with a colorful past, is trying to eke out an honest living on a backwater, floating sky island in the world of Aerozaic. When the Teledemons invade - and begin devouring the unsuspecting masses - Helen applies her mechanical expertise to dismantle them from the inside out, hoping to sell them for scrap. Using a custom-built wheelchair of her own design, Helen soon finds herself travelling the skies of Aerozaic, not only to confront the source of the Teledemons, but her own demons as well...

A multitude of microgames across an expansive, side-scrolling world.

Travel across many diverse sky islands, each with its own dungeons, towns, and gimmicks. Enter the screens of the Teledemons to go on air and do battle with a rapid succession of microgames, or "shows." The action gradually picks up speed as battles go on - and even more so the deeper you delve into each island.

So many shows...

If you ever feel like taking a break from adventuring, you can play endless versions of any of the shows/microgames you encountered in the story, while aiming for high scores. You can even set favorites and play them back-to-back! There are also preconstructed collections of rapid-fire shows that can be played endlessly for a high score, WarioWare style. So far, there are 120+ shows available in the demo, with many more to come!

Crazy customization.

Equip "circuits" to alter Helen's abilities and add additional effects - finding certain items in the world will allow you to equip even more circuits - create your own custom loadout in a system inspired by Paper Mario's badges. Furthermore, there is a wealth of accessibility options available, such as the ability to adjust the difficulty slider at any time during gameplay, without restriction. Or, if you want a challenge, you can even store your level-ups to "level down" (and reapply them as needed at any time).

Always see new sights - no mandatory backtracking.

The main story will never force you to repeat old areas to progress - and it won't be beholden to linearity, either. If you do wish to revisit familiar places, certain islands (in future releases) will feature optional areas to return to after you obtain new abilities. There will be many optional sky islands to discover, as well, with the game world gradually opening up as the adventure progresses.

Carry over progress with New Game (+) at any time, whenever you want.

You don't have to beat the game to unlock "new game plus" - you can start the story over from the beginning whenever you want - and even freely choose what bits of progress carries over to your new game, and what doesn't. Great if you took a long break, only to forget where you were at and what you were doing, but don't want to lose all of your hard work!

A very meaty demo...

Telegeddon is still a work in progress, but the downloadable demo already offers a few hours' worth of content in the story so far (plus extras!).

Some things to note -
It is highly, highly recommended that you use a controller to play this game. Telegeddon supports analog stick movement and was designed with that in mind, but it is nonetheless perfectly playable with D-pads and other forms of input. Keyboard controls are supported, but they are not recommended. But hey, options.

Also note: this game contains some mild language and a few somewhat dark storytelling moments that might not be suitable for small children.

Reached the end of the demo (which is a REALLY lengthy demo, by the way, for those curious) and as someone who enjoyed Psycutlery in the past, as well as someone who's a HUGE Warioware-like fan, this is already shaping up to be one really fun game! Lots of content just in the demo alone... it only makes me wonder how expansive the full game will be! The microgames are fun, the story is fascinating, and the comedy is topnotch. Really awesome stuff!
